Succuban Relationships

Created Sunday 31 July 2022

Of course, the basis of any relationship with a Succubus is how much you can eat. Sorry, but they are women of dignity, and they will not go any farther than you will eat.
And yes, eating a Succubus kills her. We know, it's hard to take a lot of bites out of a sentient creature before it dies. But digestion makes them (corpse/egg-o-plasm thing that is is passing through) rapidly adapt to / learn from their environment. Yeah, culturally (i.e., their collective stance towards Humans) doesn't change nearly as rapidly.

But their bodies do. At a molescular level. Yeah, they are an Interstellar Species that got they way by:
  1. hopping on the back of the Mycon just about at the start
    1. Put it this way: There is no meaurable/observable species among the Informat That Is Shared
(i.e., that which is translmitted between interstellar species. Upon first contact, any species that is in any way possibly in contact with the Those Who Know to Share must tell the newly contacted species:
)
that is closer to the edge of space (that has travelled so far into space (and thus back in time) than the Succubi.
  1. And since Succubi are very often at the forefront of any new event that has interstellar ramifications
(they're that close the "beginning" of the Myconian Trail. They that close in time to the creation of an event---any event. Sure, it may be scores of years after the interstellar event, but usually it's pretty close to it. And, of course, among those "interstellar events" are species inventing some way to make a noticable impact on their instellar environment. And so very often when that happens, teh Succubi are very quickly there. Seeing if they can grow up---adapt themselves to a new fine soil---upon this interstallar event, including---especially---when it's a species smart and together enough to be just about ready to explode into space. Imagine a Good Succubus. The Good Succubus?)
  1. Then anyone who's been in contact with Succubi is expected to know to Share the Information That Is Shared.
    1. And, it turns out, to be obliged to recieve, use, and actively transmit additions (never deltions: you're only supposed to add to the list if it really matters. Please, don't be a dick. We will remove you from Those Who Know to Share.
  1. Being indeed able to change in many ways at a molecular level to randomly try a bunch of things to adapt to that new environment, whatevere it is.
And it's not like they stop evolving---or being crazy good at it. Sometimes annoyingly good. So in adapting to a Human biome, there are many ways they could enter into reproduciton through consumption^[Technically digestion] relationships. Of course, they realize sex gets them edible^[And, yes, to say out loud what I should hope it clear (to anyone else who ever reads this; sure likely no one ever, but still, even to clear up that little risk of thinking otherwise): I do mean for this to both be to make you wonder if this is as much a mental masturbation as it seems and a funny jab at our society and how something like that is not something we've evolved to defense against. I mean, we couldn't in time. No way. They're done this many times^[Yeah, in the back of my head through this whole screed I've kept there that there aren't that many intersteallar-ready species. Really, that multiplier in Fermis equation is indeed a really small number---small in ways need the orders of magnitude only space can provide. Like 1x10-3245 sort of stuff. Still, they've done it a lot. There are a lot of sentient interstellar events out there. Most just haven't gone verey far since.]. So, they've learned a lot through these interactions---both the "organics" and "inorganic". And have learned to keep learning about their new biome, and never stop looking for ways to be eaten.

One Succuban Strand turns into a sort of tea. Has a couple whole planets engineered to their particular expansion. A sprig of their tea is a kindly gesture made by those who can to any new species they
