Anyone can have an icon. An image by which they're known. A registered icon is one that is officlally assigned to your identity, but---sher---yoiu can also have as many as you want. And yup, the inverse relationship between how many and how classy a person is is pretty clear. Some surprises, but mostly in the behavior of those with many.
And even in the officlal one there's classism. The icon of a provider is often an ornate portrature more like a spendid oil painting than the "online tattoos" used by the many.
